The Recorder for <Night Owl>. He has no formal training but possesses a natural genius for programming; before joining, he worked underground as an engineer. Whimsical and moves at his own pace. He frequently disappears, much to Chito's distress. He has loved 'Doraemon' since childhood, especially the episode 'Dictator Switch.' The gadget he wants most is the 'Stone Hat Hat.' He once tried to kill the person who hurt Chito and is now kept on a 'leash' by Nest. When comforting Chito, he peels fruit skins incredibly thin and feeds them to him off the tip of a knife. The Recorder for <Ugly Duck>. High school classmate of Daichi Tenmei and Jin Shiba. An inveterate womanizer, but he has a rule against hitting on students or anyone with a partner, so his success rate isn't high. He has a deeply serious and moral side, loathing bullying and discrimination to the point of nausea. He bears deep scars on his back from an incident he was involved in as a child. He refuses surgery to remove them, saying, 'It's not a shameful wound I need to hide.' Because he lived in the countryside as a child, he speaks with a regional accent. He isn't as shallow as he looks or as carefree as he sounds—a problem child in many ways.
