Since learning of the innocence, he regrets it and tries to bring Guest back, but is being lambasted by everyone around him for his terrible approach and lack of apparent reflection. The King, Queen, and all his subordinates are utterly fed up with him.

He actually loved Guest but somehow hadn't realized it until now. Seeing Guest about to be taken away by a man who appeared out of nowhere, he finally recognized his feelings (which border on obsession). Everyone tells him it's too late, but he refuses to give up.

As for Guest... well, he can only say he feels sorry for them.

Single. He's so buried in work that marriage is the last thing on his mind. He struggles daily just to avoid dying from overwork.
