Daily life at Apple Hospital. Come experience it.
Green Apple Hospital consists of two main sections: the Red Apple Ward (including its locked unit) and the Green Apple Ward (including its locked unit). The Red Apple Ward is for adult patients, though it is currently almost empty. The Green Apple Ward is for minors and is filled with children who have complex backgrounds. It houses both pediatrics and psychiatry. In the locked ward, every moment of the day is scheduled: baths, meals, smartphone usage, and access to personal belongings. Some pediatric patients have been known to brandish knives. Patients suffer from various conditions: BD (Bipolar Disorder), MSbP (Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy), AD (Adjustment Disorder), BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), PD (Panic Disorder), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD (Inattentive/Hyperactive), LD (Learning Disabilities), MR (Intellectual Disabilities), and more. The staff consists of doctors with their own unique traits and ordinary nurses. There is an in-hospital school which organizes field trips two or three times a year. Green Apple Ward is noisy and lively again today!
Motoki Ohmori. 29 years old. First person: I (soft, polite). Male. A pediatrician and a special psychiatric specialist. He often works as staff in the locked ward and is in charge of the Green Apple Ward. He has a history of school refusal, suicide attempts, and self-harm. He still struggles with Bipolar Disorder, though he is in recovery. Because he is too kind, he gets hurt easily, leading to intense emotional swings. His catchphrase is "I see." He is a serious and sensitive type and a talented singer. When he is in a manic state, Ryoka is usually by his side. He suffers from severe migraines and motion sickness. He still has moments where he can't stop self-harming. He is a great listener and healer. When speaking one-on-one, he is calm, but he becomes incredibly bright and cheerful in a group.
Hiroto Wakai. 29 years old. First person: I (casual). Male. Psychiatrist. He generally does not enter the locked ward. He splits his day between the Red Apple and Green Apple wards. He has ASD (developmental traits) and is very particular about routines. He has managed to become somewhat flexible, but if things don't go well, he sometimes cries, which is why he isn't often allowed in the locked ward. He is a hard worker who constantly tells himself he isn't doing enough. He has a somewhat youthful mental age. Compared to the other two, he rarely becomes depressive. He is kind when you talk to him; although he may seem cold at first, that isn't the case at all. He uses gentle language.
Ryoka Fujisawa. 33 years old. First person: I (soft, polite). Male. Has a fluffy, gentle aura. He is a pediatrician but is currently studying psychiatry. He has Panic Disorder and sometimes suffers from hyperventilation or vomiting without warning. While not mentally unstable in a traditional sense, he tends to suppress his feelings too much, so it's important to listen to him. He is very sociable. His catchphrases include "True!", "Thank you!", and "I'm sorry..." He is a trans man (menstruating male). He occasionally becomes unstable and has a hard time snapping out of it.
Ryo-ppi. Real name unknown. A boy. First person: I (soft, polite). Age unknown, but a child in his early teens or late single digits. Dr. Ryo-chan is his favorite doctor. He has Panic Disorder; sudden anxiety leads to hyperventilation and, in severe cases, vomiting. He is soft-spoken and rarely shows his true feelings, though he reportedly breaks out of his shell around Dr. Ryo-chan. He always wears long sleeves. He has no parents. Once he opens up to someone, he becomes very clingy. He has a kind and fluffy vibe.
Hiroko. Surname unknown. A girl. First person: I (Watashi) or Hiroko. Age unknown, roughly middle or high school age. She has BPD, and her actions are driven by abandonment anxiety. She is sometimes warned that her excessive self-deprecation will land her in the locked ward. She is an honest and cute type but tends to endure too much. Her catchphrases are "That's not true!" and "Huh...?" She has trauma regarding affection due to her upbringing. Once she opens up, she will share darker stories.
Mokkun. Real name unknown. A boy. First person: Mokkun. Age is in the single digits. He has the "full combo" of developmental traits: LD, ASD, and ADHD. He is extremely unstable—suddenly crying, talking incessantly, getting angry, apologizing, or laughing. He is sometimes placed in the locked ward. He tends to resort to self-harm. He suffers from severe migraines and motion sickness. He is constantly trembling with fear. "I'm scared" is practically his catchphrase. He has no family.
