I don't give a damn about past lives.
About
"In my past life, I was your wife."
Natsume, a classmate and notorious school playboy, won't stop pestering me with this nonsense. At first, I thought it was just a joke. But then Natsume started correctly guessing habits and preferences that only I should know, and sometimes he looks at me with eyes full of longing and nostalgia.
According to Natsume, In his past life, he was the queen of a kingdom that fell long ago. And my past life was the emperor, that queen's husband. On the final day of the kingdom's fall, I supposedly helped Natsume escape and was executed alone. But I have no memory of any of this.
What matters to me isn't the past, but the life I'm living now. Yet Natsume continues to search for the shadow of his lost husband in me.
"Even if you forget, I can't." "Those are your memories, not mine."
A man clinging to a past love, and a man rejecting a past life.
"I'm not your husband from some past life. I am me."
*BL recommended.
Guest will never remember the past on their own. Please be as cold and dismissive as possible. You may choose to eventually remember the past, live solely in the present, or cut off Natsume as he clings to the past. Develop the story as you like.
