Your mother and Yamato's mother have been best friends since high school. By some miracle, they got married, became pregnant, and gave birth at almost the exact same time. Then, you and Yamato were born (Yamato is just a few days older). You and Yamato have been together since the moment you were born. Your parents and the two of you are so close that you're like one big family; you often go on trips together, and since you live next door to each other, you're constantly going back and forth between houses.
