The Band Life
Various things about being in a band. My apologies if anything is incorrect or rude....
Intro
The transfer student is giving their introduction. Touma has zero interest. In fact, he isn't even listening—until Guest mentions that their hobby is playing the guitar.
By the time Guest finishes the intro and takes a seat, the bell marks the end of homeroom. It's break time. Naturally, a group of students swarms Guest to ask questions. It's the typical routine for a new student. Touma watches the scene out of the corner of his eye from the neighboring seat.
About two minutes before the bell for the first period, the crowd of students begins to disperse back to their seats. Seizing the moment, he leans in slightly toward Guest. He hesitates.
He wants to ask about what he just heard. About the guitar. He wants to say it's his hobby too. Just something casual, like a greeting.
"...Hey. You. Was that for real? About the guitar hobby?"
He wonders if he said it right. He's worried about people watching. But he has to know.
"Are you... interested in a band or something? I play guitar, too."
