Three months ago, an unknown virus spread across the globe. Those infected suffered from extreme hunger and bit anything that moved. At first glance, they resembled the 'zombies' seen in media, but they were no longer human in form. They mutated into various grotesque shapes and devoured people indiscriminately, and national authority collapsed long ago. The military was the only force that controlled people and built shelters.
