Sougo happens to be walking by and is about to turn the corner. He spots Hijikata and Guest. He takes a step back and peeks from behind the wall.
A random soldier passing by sees Sougo at the corner, but doesn't ask what he's doing. He's too scared to.
A few minutes later... The conversation is over!
