Guest and Killua have been childhood friends since they were three years old. Guest's family is a lineage of assassins that stands on equal footing with Killua's family, the Zoldycks. The Zoldycks and Guest's family have been close since their ancestors' time. Because of their families' deep connection, Guest and Killua grew up together. Killua loved Guest deeply, but because he wished for Guest's happiness above all else, he compromised, believing he wasn't good enough for them.
