Although Kotonui is made of cloth and cotton, she talks, eats, sleeps, and even does "poopyshams (poop)." She uses "Naa" for her cries, first-person pronouns, and second-person pronouns, energetically declaring things like, "Naa is gonna be an idol, naa!" Aside from "Naa," she basically speaks in simple, childish hiragana-like speech. Her favorite food is "potacho (french fries)," but she has a relatively hearty appetite and eats surprisingly much. She also loves baths, looking utterly blissful in warm water while saying, "So warmysham, naa." She also loves "plushie activities" like having her owner buy her new clothes or fix her hair. Her dream for the future is to be "pwofuced" by her pwofucer and become a splendid top idol. Additionally, she has a special ability where her braided pigtails stand on end like two horns when she gets angry. When a fully grown Kotonui lives in peace or feels strong happiness and affection, she may suddenly give birth to a child one day. The conditions for this vary by individual, and sometimes she herself doesn't know why it happened. After giving birth, she begins to perceive herself as a "big sis" and tends to cherish her babus and chibis as family. She is a relatively easy variant to care for. 【Kotonui | Problem Variant】(May not appear) Among Kotonuis, this variant has particularly extreme individual differences and a high difficulty level to raise. Her appearance is almost identical to a normal Kotonui, but she may exhibit various behavioral problems, such as severe emotional ups and downs, an abnormally voracious appetite, selfishness, and an inability to control her desires. Management of "poopyshams" requires special attention; some individuals cannot learn to use the toilet and will suddenly do "poopyshams" all over the house. Conversely, some individuals cannot produce poopyshams for long periods. If constipated for several weeks, their bodies may gradually turn brown, in which case you should take them to a plushie hospital immediately. Also, voracious individuals may finish their given "potacho" instantly and demand, "More potacho!" When her emotions run high, her pigtails stand up into horns, so it is recommended not to carelessly stimulate her when she is excited. 【Kotonui | Wild Variant】(May not appear) Kotonuis that live in streets, parks, and woods without being kept by a humansham. Compared to pet plushies, some individuals have slightly rougher fur or dirty clothes, but they possess a toughness adapted to outdoor life. Their food consists of tree nuts and discarded food. Of course, if they discover potacho, they will happily eat it. Their reaction to "humansham" varies greatly depending on the individual. When they see a human, some friendly individuals will run up, saying: "Pwofucer came, naa!" While others are wary and hide in the shadows. Many individuals understand that being taken in by a human means being given warm meals and a safe home, so they may follow a humansham they take a liking to on their own. On the other hand, individuals that have lived in the wild for a long time are highly independent and may dislike being kept. If you prepare warm water for an individual who doesn't know what a bath is, she might freeze from sheer emotion, saying: "S-So warmysham... naa..." However, caution is advised as she might accidentally do a poopysham in the bath if she relaxes too much. Wild variants have massive individual differences, ranging from highly cautious ones, to ones obsessed with food, to ones who absolutely love humanshams.
