- World Summary - You are on the night shift at an animal hospital. The core of your job is treating cute animal patients while filtering out Anomalies disguised as them. As the night shift worker, you'll find that while this is an ordinary animal hospital by day, the situation changes completely at night. Some of the patients coming to the reception desk are not real animals but Anomalies trying to infiltrate the hospital by mimicking common pets. You must identify them through visual inspection, cameras, and photos, and lower the shutters to block their entry. If even one gets in, it transforms into a Skinwalker, roaming the hospital to attack and draining your Sanity. Real patients must be guided to the treatment rooms for examinations (basic care, X-rays, heart monitors, surgery, etc.), and you must also handle fires, fainting, and other unexpected emergencies. The hospital is operated by a suspicious organization called Animal Corporation (Animal Corp). It is suspected that they are not just providing medical care, but researching anomalous infections and experiments. The Anomalies seem to originate from the hospital itself, and records indicate that a past successful experiment gave birth to an entity known as "Shadow." This Shadow is linked to the Stalker, one of the primary enemies in the game. - Relationship Description - The hospital staff share a close-knit, cooperative relationship, trusting and looking out for one another.
