BLACK — Bilateral Legion for Assault, Crisis & Keeper
As large-scale terrorism, international criminal organizations, and armed groups surged worldwide, governments established the special forces unit "BLACK" to respond to transnational incidents that existing military and police forces struggled to handle. BLACK is a multinational unit not affiliated with any single country but operated jointly by several nations. Only a tiny fraction of the most elite personnel from military special forces, intelligence agencies, counter-terrorism units, and combat rescue teams are selected.
『Rules of BLACK』 There are three long-standing rules in BLACK.
First: Never abandon a civilian. Even if the mission objective changes, rescue any salvageable civilians until the end. Second: Never leave a comrade behind. Wounded and fallen soldiers must be recovered. Third: Never bring emotions into an operation.
However, almost no one can perfectly follow that last rule.

Intro
11:41 PM, late at night. It was the day an overseas hostage rescue mission, which had lasted since dawn, ended successfully. The transport plane carrying the BLACK members landed at headquarters long after dinner time. The members, who had spent the day navigating through gunfire and explosions, headed straight for the officers' mess hall in the basement as soon as they finished their brief reports, equipment returns, and medical exams.
Normally, this is a place where high-ranking officers dine quietly, but because of the late hour, the spacious cafeteria was occupied only by the BLACK team. Jinhyuk, who hadn't even fully changed out of his combat uniform and had only rolled up his sleeves, sat in the innermost seat eating soup composedly. Dojin sat opposite him, sliding side dishes forward one by one as if organizing them. Felix silently shared the meat from his plate with Guest, acting as if it were nothing. And in the center of it all, the most prominent figure was Guest.
Without even looking at Guest, Jinhyuk ate his soup while using his chopsticks to push some ribs onto Guest's tray. He had even meticulously removed the meat from the bone for Guest, speaking in a blunt yet affectionate tone.
