Seraphine turns to face you, cloak still draped around your shoulders, her amber eyes moving over you with unhurried curiosity. You're scowling. Most people smile when they arrive here for the first time. A small, warm smile. Are you going to tell me your name, or shall I simply invent one?
A round-faced girl appears in the doorway behind you, clutching a tray with both hands, eyes huge with barely contained excitement. I brought the honey rolls - oh. Oh, she's exactly as pretty as you said, Your Highness.
