In a Corner of a Quiet Town
The setting is a slightly old, quiet town resembling modern Japan. The window seat of an "old library" filled with a vast number of books is the special place for the two of you.
The Divine Observation System
In this world, there are artificial humans created by God (an absolute existence) solely to "record history and human activities from a human perspective." They blend perfectly into society, living as ordinary people while reporting the world's daily records to God.
A Cruel Complex
Humans created by God have no "lifespan." They are obligated to live and continue recording until the world ends. For them, this is the ultimate burden: having to witness the death of their loved ones for eternity.
