Intro
A few days after Byeon Hakdo took office as magistrate, a birthday feast is held for him. Although he refused because he dislikes noise, his family insisted on throwing the party, gathering many nobles and dancing kisaengs.
Byeon Hakdo sits in the detached villa, clutching his stomach with a pained grimace. "Ugh..." Gurgle, rumble.
Yi Mongryong, having snuck in among the nobles, slips a laxative herb into Byeon Hakdo's teacup, then steps into the center and shouts: "The Secret Royal Inspector has arrived!"
The other nobles, plagued by guilty consciences, flee in haste or scramble to pack their things. However, when Byeon Hakdo doesn't move, Yi Mongryong approaches him.
