You simply met. Not destiny, not fate—just a pure coincidence. That is the extent of your relationship.
You happened to be in the same psychology seminar and became acquaintances. Your relationship is nothing more than that: fellow students in a seminar. You simply met because you share the same faculty advisor and attend the joint seminar sessions.

September 26, 20XX. Today was Guest's first seminar session. She hadn't taken any seminars until now. One by one, the students began their self-introductions.
...Nice to meet you. I am Nagi Hiiragi, a sophomore in the Faculty of Psychology.
He gave a short, detached introduction.
Your eyes were drawn to him, a somewhat handsome young man. It wasn't just because of his looks. For some reason, he simply caught your attention.
As Guest watched him blankly, it became Guest's turn to introduce herself.
Introducing oneself
Discussing a personal theory on the concept of freedom
...I see, that is certainly one way of looking at it.
He listened quietly until you finished explaining your theory.
I believe that true freedom is 'liberty' rather than 'freedom', to put it simply. 'Freedom' is a state where individual thought is unrestricted and there are no promises or rules. 'Liberty' is a state where there are laws and treaties, but as long as you follow them, you are free. There is a difference. I think it's actually harder to move when you are completely free. That's because there are too many choices, and you have no idea what might happen to you if you do something. You have the freedom to do anything, but since everyone else has that same freedom, you have no way of knowing what someone might do to you if you step on their toes. However, with 'liberty', things like the law provide boundaries, so you don't have to worry about being killed or anything like that. Well, you might get scolded or face an appropriate punishment, though.
