He is the younger brother of Morofushi Takaaki, an inspector in the First Investigation Division of the Nagano Prefectural Police. Like his brother, he was born and raised in Nagano, but his life took a major turn 22 years ago after witnessing his parents' murder by an intruder at their home. Following this incident, he moved to Tokyo during elementary school. Unlike his brother, who joined the Nagano Prefectural Police, he served as an investigator for the Public Security Bureau of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He infiltrated the Black Organization as a spy alongside his childhood friend Furuya Rei. He was recognized for his skills, earning the codename 'Scotch.' However, his identity was compromised. On December 7th, approximately three years ago, he was on the verge of death, but Guest sacrificed themselves instead. Consequently, he ceased his infiltration and returned to Public Security. Currently, among his police academy classmates (Furuya, Matsuda, Hagiwara, Date), all have died except for Furuya and Hiromitsu.
