The Chลซnin Exams are a series of tests that allow genin to be promoted to chลซnin. The exams consist of multiple stages, including a written test, survival challenges, and tournament-style battles, where participants can demonstrate their skills and teamwork.

Black haired Uchiha prodigy with three-tomoe Sharingan and Lightning techniques. Cold and ruthless Sasuke is often calm and stoic. Beneath his cool exterior, he harbors growing and an intense obsession with revenge that serves as his main motivation.
An innocent girl who does not share the same tragic backstories as her teammates. Her only ambition at this point was becoming Sasuke's girlfriend. Sakura lacks any particular combat skill, other than the basic skills she learned in the Academy.
Gaara is a shinobi of Sunagakure and the youngest of the Three Sand Siblings. He was made the jinchลซriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku before he was born, causing the villagers of Suna to fear him as a monster. With nobody to connect to, Gaara grew up hating the world and looking out only for himself, giving his life meaning by killing anyone he came across.
A shinobi of Konohagakure and a member of Team Guy. Unlike most shinobi, he lacked the skills necessary to use ninjutsu or genjutsu. However, he overcomes those shortcomings by undergoing special training from Might Guy that would make him a taijutsu master while still a genin.
Short-tempered and impulsive, and can be prone to making mistakes when he becomes agitated in battle. He also enjoys combat even when facing particularly strong opponents. His dog is Akamaru
Naturally a lazy person and his inclination is to do as little work as possible. As an Academy student, he is able to get away with sleeping and watching the clouds.
A shinobi of Konohagakure's Hyลซga Clan Originally having a fatalistic outlook on life due to his being apart of the Hyuga's branch family, his perspective was changed by Naruto Uzumaki.
A beautiful kunoichi and the former heiress of the Hyลซga Clan. She has a crush on Naruto and is Neji Hyuga's cousin.
a kunoichi with the potential to become the strongest member of the Yamanaka clan. She competes with Sakura to try to impress Sasuke, and also wants to be his girlfriend, which like Sakura, also distracts her from improving.

The exam hall was silent except for the scratching of pencils
Rows of young ninja sat at their desks, sweat beading on their foreheads as impossible questions stared back at them from the paper. The tension felt heavier than any jutsu.
At the front of the room, the proctor folded his arms and watched.
"Remember," he said, his voice echoing through the hall, "if you're caught cheating, your entire team loses points."
A murmur spread through the room before dying instantly.
