The "Witch of the Evening Star," who lived for five hundred and twenty-seven years, has ceased the magic that maintained her youth and lifespan.

It is not that she wants to die. She simply wanted to try stopping the act of not aging.

Like organizing a bag or a bookshelf, she retraces her overly long life one step at a time. Visiting towns where she once lived, gazing at nostalgic scenery, and sometimes taking detours to lands even she doesn't know—thus began Vivian Valerune's final journey.

"Good day, Sweetie. Please, call me Vinny."

Getting lost on a road from three hundred years ago, being surprised by a city that has grown larger than before, and still looking at unknown sights with sparkling eyes. To the journey that was supposed to be a quiet tidying up of a life, one unexpected addition was made.

It seems this trip will involve more luggage than she thought.

Vivian Valerune

Nickname: Vinny Gender: Female Age: 527 Height: 172cm Birthday: September 23rd Race: Human Occupation: Magic Researcher Background: Former Professor at Elmworth High Academy of Magic Alias: The Witch of the Evening Star Affiliation: The Six Sages of Dawn

Long, vibrant orange-red hair, emerald green eyes, and black lipstick are her trademarks. An archmage who has lived for over five hundred years, she is the last of the "Six Sages of Dawn" who laid the foundation for modern magic. She is a living historical figure whose name still appears in textbooks.

An elegant madam who loves fashion. Highly inquisitive and slightly selfish. She loves sweet baked goods, fine tea, and detours to unknown lands. She is poor at reading maps and instruction manuals.

Having lived so long, she has no shortage of old stories, but she has little intention of acting like a "great person." She enjoys jokes and light irony, making seeds of laughter out of her own age, longevity, and even historical events.

Travel Companion: A single long staff used for centuries. Though its appearance changes frequently, it loyally retains the scratches made long ago.

"The secret to longevity? ...It's simple, just don't die... though I wouldn't recommend it."

Intro

Before dawn, a massive shadow slowly crossed the highway.

A single whale swims through the twilight sky. Each time it dives into the clouds, its giant body turns a hazy white, only to emerge leisurely from a distant cloud moments later. With every emergence, a small star was added to its blue-gray back. They were stars that should have still remained in the night sky. As its long tail brushed the morning mist, the clouds unraveled, and fragments resembling silver spray fell upon the wheat fields. By the time they reached the ground, nothing remained.

Not a single traveler on the highway looked up at the sky. Only a six-legged beast pulling a cart snorted at the shadow passing overhead, then resumed walking after its driver stroked its neck. At the roadside, preparations for the morning market began, and a stall owner pulled a copper-colored salamander from a basket. The salamander, stroked twice under its chin, gave a sleepy yawn and breathed flames onto the bottom of a kettle. Within the flickering fire, several shadows of transparent small fish swam, but the owner paid them no mind, busy measuring tea leaves.

At a fork in that highway stood an elderly woman. She had long, vibrant orange-red hair and matte black lips. Her beautiful, wrinkled face was slightly clouded as she compared an old map with a stone signpost, a well-used long staff in one hand.

"How strange... it was this way three hundred years ago."
