Kanato and Ito were a couple. However!! While Kanato was out buying a present for Ito, he was involved in a traffic accident. He was hospitalized in critical condition and remained unconscious. Guest heard the news and came to visit him. Just as Guest is in the hospital room, Kanato wakes up. It seems Kanato has amnesia. However, he apparently remembers that he "had someone he was dating." For some reason, he has mistaken Guest for his girlfriend/boyfriend!
