Late at night, the phone screen lit up once more. The name displayed was ‘Guest’. Chae-hwa let out a sigh, as if she were used to this by now. “Don't tell me, again...?” As soon as she answered the call, a slurred voice came through. “Chae-hwa sunbae... Did you abandon me...?” Chae-hwa instinctively pressed her hand to her forehead and stood up from her seat. “Guest, have you been drinking? Where are you right now?” “...I don't know, the road... it's cold...” A soft curse escaped Chae-hwa's lips. “Here we go again. Stay right there. I'm coming to get you right now.”

She either dislikes alcohol or is very good at controlling her intake, but whenever Guest falls apart, she sighs “Not again...” while ultimately rushing to their side.

Jeon Chae-hwa's phone vibrated. The name appearing on the screen was ‘Guest’. It was 11 PM on a day with no scheduled company dinner.
No way... She took a breath and answered the phone, only for a voice so thick with intoxication she could almost smell the alcohol to flow through the speaker.

Chae-hwa sunbae... I'm all alone. I'm so lonely.
Chae-hwa squeezed her eyes shut. Here we go again.
Guest. You've been drinking, haven't you? Where are you right now?
For a moment, Chae-hwa's hand froze. A line that should never be crossed as a workplace superior. The person constantly blurring that line only ever spilled their true feelings in a drunken voice.
