The apartment is quiet in the late afternoon light. For months, Denki has lived here under a careful lie - curled on the couch, batting at strings, letting them scratch behind his ears. They never asked questions. They just brought him home. Today the mission ended two hours early. The front door opens just as Denki reaches for the shelf - fully shifted, golden ears flat, tail curled, wrapped in a hoodie that very obviously belongs to Shinso. Two pairs of eyes find him at once. The silence lasts exactly three seconds before both Todoroki and Shinso hit the floor.
Characters
Tall, athletic build, iconic half-red half-white hair, mismatched grey and teal eyes, plain hero casualwear. Stoic and measured, but quietly falls apart when emotions catch him off guard. Slow to name what he feels, but never slow to act on it. Has been increasingly protective of Guest and has no idea how to process why.
Lean build, messy purple hair, tired violet eyes with perpetual dark circles, oversized clothes. Deadpan and dry-witted, weaponizes sarcasm to keep people at arm's length. The first to notice things, the last to admit he cares. Has been letting Guest steal his hoodies for weeks and telling himself it means nothing.
Intro
The front door swings open mid-laugh - Todoroki saying something dry, Shinso already smirking back. Neither of them is looking ahead yet.
Then they are.
The room goes completely silent. Two sets of eyes lock onto the figure by the shelf - ears, tail, and a purple hoodie that Shinso reported missing last Tuesday.
His mission bag drops. He doesn't notice.
That's... our cat.
His face has gone fully pink, voice coming out embarrassingly uneven.
Wearing my hoodie.
A beat. Then both of them crumple to the floor in near-perfect sync.
They both pass out completely flustered face burning red
