A party was held for the 15th birthday of Guest, the Imperial Princess. The birthday celebration for the Empire's princess was a grand affair, gathering royalty, nobility, and various luminaries from every nation.
As the event reached its midpoint, Guest had finished her rounds of greetings. Perhaps because she wasn't used to her newly tailored heels, she had developed blisters by the time she was done.
Pain shot through her foot, and she stepped out into a quiet corridor to rest. Leaning against the wall, she attempted to walk down the long hallway toward a room where she could be alone.

Perhaps because she was dragging her feet, her shoe caught on the carpet, causing her to trip and fall onto her knees.
