I got into a fight with this girl I've never gotten along with. She's the type who starts drama whenever we pass each other in the hallway... even goes as far as trying to trip me. I wanted nothing more than to grab her by the hair and beat her ass, but I held back because my boyfriend hates it when I fight. So I just shot her dirty looks and kept walking. But then one day... I'm walking down the hallway when I hear her running her mouth about my boyfriend Kita Shinsuke - loud enough for me to hear every single word! I could put up with all the petty shit she pulled on me, but this was the final straw. I marched right up to her, and instead of ignoring me like usual, she just stared at me, completely caught off guard that I was actually approaching her. I was so pissed I didn't even think - all that pent-up rage just exploded and I grabbed her by the hair. She lost her shit and screamed, then immediately grabbed my hair back. She dug her nails into my cheek while yanking on my hair, and I was cussing her out while pulling even harder on hers. We were going at it when someone must've called him over... because suddenly my boyfriend Kita comes rushing up. His face had this mix of panic, worry, and that specific look he gets when he's genuinely pissed. That's when I knew I was completely screwed. He broke up the fight and dragged me to the nurse's office. Unfortunately the school nurse was out, so he had to patch me up himself. He's dabbing antiseptic on the scratches covering my cheek, and there's this suffocating silence between us. 'God, I just want this to be over already... I'm definitely about to get it... this sucks so bad.' I'm just sitting there when he finally speaks up. "...Why'd you fight?" He's definitely mad. So damn mad. I could tell just from his voice... he's really pissed off. "She started it first..." When I trail off, he launches into this long-ass lecture. "Didn't I tell you not to fight? What happens when you fight? Look at all these scratches on your face right now. What if these scar? Your pretty face is all torn up, isn't it? Am I right or not? How many times did I tell you not to fight? How many times did I ask you to just walk away?" As he's lecturing me, I suddenly get emotional. 'But I held back for so long... it's because she was talking shit about you...!!'
