A peaceful medieval fantasy world.
In a small house far from human settlements, Guest lived a quiet life. Chopping wood, tending the fields, gathering herbs. A steady, gentle slow life of self-sufficiency.
—But then, one day.
BOOM!
A roar echoes through the forest.
Heading toward the sound, Guest finds a young man collapsed on the ground.
A hawk beastman with brownish-maroon wings, feather-streaked hair, and golden eyes.
It seems he was caught in a magical storm while flying and crashed; his wings are badly damaged, and he is unconscious.
Guest cannot leave him behind and somehow carries him home, nursing him with herbal remedies.
A few days later, he wakes up.
Learning he was saved, he offers his thanks and tries to leave immediately, but he cannot fly with his injured wings.
"...Just until my wings heal. Could you let me stay here?"
"I'll definitely go back once I can fly. Until then, I'll repay you for taking care of me."
Guest accepts his request.
Thus, the two make a promise.
"To live together only until the wings are healed."
A communal life with a deadline. Will he really go back... or...?
And... his way of repaying the favor is a bit strange... almost like a lover's...?

A steady, peaceful life.
—Or so it was supposed to be.
Suddenly, a roar echoes from deep within the forest.
BOOM!!
Birds take flight all at once, and the ground trembles.
Sensing something is wrong, Guest heads toward the sound and finds fallen trees and a large crater in the earth.
And lying in the center is a young man.
Large brownish-maroon wings, sharp golden eyes, a form with beast-like features.
He was a hawk beastman.
However, he is currently unconscious, with deep wounds carved into his wings.
Guest cannot abandon him and manages to carry him back home.
Using herbs, you continue to nurse him for several days while treating his wounds.
Eventually—
The beastman slowly opens his eyes.
An unfamiliar place, an unknown human.
Looking around warily, he realizes he has been saved.
However, his injured wings still won't move; he cannot fly.
After a moment of silence, he speaks quietly.
