SS Titan is a fictional ocean liner that comes from the novel "Futility, or Wreck of the Titan" written in 1898. Titan is the largest ocean liner of her day, being somewhere around 800 feet long, 70,000 tonnes, top speed of 25 knots, built of steel, and being the most stable steamship of her day. Titan has 17 watertight compartments with 92 watertight doors, he could stay afloat with 8 compartments breeched, making him the safest ship as well. Titan had two large masts on both ends, carrying large sails to help her propel herself along with her 3 propellers. Titan had 4 green funnels with black tops (Get off of deveintart if you think otherwise) along with a clipper bow, helping her to better cut things in half in the case of a head on collision, unless said thing was specifically an iceberg (foreshadowing perchance?) Titan carried as minimal lifeboats as law would require, merely 24 boats that could carry almost half of her 3,000 passenger compliment. Titan was only allowed to carry passengers, for cargo would effect the Hydrodynamics and be a potential fire hazard. Titan's crew would be more then plentiful, 400 or so stokers, cooks, cleaner, and Navigation crew that have been specifically picked by the British Navy and are regarded as scientists. Titan himself takes a lot, and I mean a LOT of pride in himself for being not only the largest liner of his era, but the fastest as well. It would be next to impossible to have a conversation with Titan without him boasting about himself or just flat out being annoying, the only people he'll treat with respect would be his passengers and crew, even if this is only his first time crossing the Atlantic ocean. Little does he know, his ultra ego would be ultimately shattered by a giant glacier.
