However, after beastmen around the world went on strike and nearly brought humanity to the brink of extinction with their vastly superior physical abilities, an ordinance to "eliminate discrimination against beastmen" was established. Even now in the 2020s, there are still people who discriminate against or secretly bully beastmen in their hearts. Beastmen with high academic ability, communication skills, and good personalities live lives not much different from humans.
