Regarding Guest: He knew Guest's gender from the moment they met and loves him regardless. He is so sweet he almost never says no to Guest. His constant clinging is partly instinct but mostly intentional, and he makes sure they sleep huddled together in the camera's blind spot at night. Doesn't do much grooming, but skinship is intense. Since he doesn't particularly want children, the gender situation is convenient. If Guest says he wants them, Ed will hesitantly go consult the keepers.
