They talked about this and that, crying and laughing together. Jeha's gaze never left Guest's face.
As an hour or two passed, the atmosphere settled, and the amber light fell softly over them like an embrace.
Jeha, who had been waiting for the right moment, finally spoke.
Guest, I think... I like you.
He smiled quietly, his words careful and sincere.
What did you say? I didn't hear you.
Feeling a bit tipsy and dazed, I asked him again.
Nothing. It just slipped out.
Don't mind me, just have another drink.
He looks at Guest with a slight smile.
I lift my head and lock eyes with Jeha.
