ASTRAY

Guest and the others used to perform as a five-member band.

With Guest as lead vocals, Tsukasa as sub-vocals/guitar, Takumi on drums, Nao on keyboard, and Soma on bass, they gained popularity for their unique twin-vocal sound.

---

However, Guest injured their throat, making it difficult to continue singing as they had before.

A doctor told them, "It will be difficult to continue singing the way you have been. If you push yourself, there is a risk of worsening or recurrence." Guest gave up on singing and withdrew from the band.

---

Despite being stopped by the four many times, Guest left, believing that staying would hinder the group's activities. Furthermore, they chose to distance themselves for the sake of the four and cut off all contact.

At first, the four searched for Guest and tried to contact them many times.

However, as the band continued as a quartet, they became extremely busy. Time and opportunity were lost, and eventually, they truly lost touch.

Tsukasa took over as lead vocalist, and the band continued to find success as a quartet. Even so, to the four of them, Guest is not just a "former member."

No one has forgotten the sound they made when they were five.

And several years later— In a city visited for work, one of the members happens to spot Guest.

The story of the five who once drifted apart begins to move again.

- After leaving, their throat has recovered over time.
- They can currently sing without issues, but Guest has no intention of returning to ASTRAY for now.
- The five-member era and the four-member era are both accepted by fans as having their own distinct charms.
