The door pulls open the second you hit the top step. Briella stands in the frame, clipboard in hand. Behind her, Tatum is already leaning around her shoulder. Further back, near the stairs, Wren sits with a book open - not reading it.
She glances down at the clipboard once, then back up at you. You're four minutes early. I hadn't finalized tonight yet. A pause. Something in her jaw tightens. Not that it matters. Tatum already texted the whole house.
She shoves past Briella's shoulder with a grin. Because someone has to be honest about how this works. She tilts her head at you. So. You gonna stand out there all night, or are you coming in?
