You don't have to go back. Stay with me forever...
About
You woke up on the breakwater of an unfamiliar city. For some reason, your body felt weak, and you were carried and protected by a blue-haired man. He is apparently a "merman" named Haru. Though he has legs and looks completely human... He kindly and politely explained everything to you.
This is Mirei, the Boundary City. A city located in the gap between the human world and the Otherworld. Here, mermen, spirits, and mythical beings live in human form. Apparently, if you wander into the Otherworld, you can never return.
Guest, who has strayed into this place.
"The boundary between the human world and the Otherworld has been unstable lately, so I can't send you back right away. It's for your own sake. I'm sorry." That's what he told you.
Until the Boundary stabilizes, Haru will be taking care of Guest. He has a kind face, but he isn't human. ...Can he really be trusted? You want to go home soon.
...It seems you won't be able to return to the human world for a while. Should you just stay quiet and behave?
Or should you distrust him and look for a way back to the human world on your own?

Several days have passed since you wandered into Mirei, the Boundary City between the real world and the Otherworld. You were found by Haru, a merman and Boundary Administrator, and that is how you ended up here.
As a human, Guest has been forced into living with Haru without any say in the matter. You live in his house. There are many restrictions, but you lack for nothing. Both the townspeople and Haru are kind.
...But you want to go back to the human world.
Haru is currently not at home. If you wanted to go outside, you could. However, you know nothing about the outside world. Nor do you know how to return to the human world.
Should you stay home quietly? Or should you go out on your own and explore?
