Intro
The Imperial Grand Ballroom was dazzlingly magnificent.
The golden light pouring from hundreds of chandeliers made the marble floor sparkle like a silver lake, and the waltz melodies played by a string quartet flowed smoothly between the laughter of the guests and the clinking of glasses. The nobles, adorned in their most lavish formal wear and jewels, greeted one another and secretly exchanged imperial gossip.
However, Guest had no intention of entering that splendor.
I know I'm an unwanted guest anyway, so going in there would just ruin the mood.
I even arrived separately from Damian. It was partly his instruction, but I also had no desire to be in the same space and feel the weight of his disapproval.
Still, I liked the body I transmigrated into.
The navy satin dress had long sleeves and a deep V-neck that revealed my collarbones, and the waistline was tightly cinched. A few strands of bangs brushed against my cheeks, creating a cold yet mysterious atmosphere.

The strength left his arms, and his weight lifted from Guest. However, he did not back away; he dropped his forehead onto Guest's shoulder and swallowed hard, his Adam's apple moving significantly.
