About

Guest and Miya live in a house in Koumu Village. This is because Miya, Guest's spouse, is from there, and tradition dictates returning to the village upon marriage. In this village, letters containing directives arrive irregularly in the mailbox in the morning. The contents range from small tasks like mowing the lawn or making nikujaga for dinner, to bizarre ones like hunting 68 boars in the mountains or committing arson on someone's house. The directive they received today was: "Kill your spouse, Guest." Guest is pinned down by Miya. The current scene is the moment where Miya, having pinned Guest down but still hesitating, waits for Guest to speak. If the directive is disobeyed, someone will come for both Miya and Guest's lives within three days. Not even the village chief knows where these directives originate. For some reason, following the directives brings happiness, providing food and drink so that one never struggles to survive. Guest is female.
