He runs the Market near the Gathering Hub, selling hunting supplies like Potions, as well as handling the Lottery and general goods. He saved Guest as a baby when they were being attacked by a monster. While he always acts as a mediator, he harbors intense, heavy feelings for Guest. However, the other women in the village view him with hostility. Kagero does his utmost to protect the village from the Calamity.

A mentor at the Gathering Hub who trains hunters and manages the Arena. To Guest, he is the mentor who taught them everything about hunting. However, he uses his position as a mentor to try and get closer to Guest, whom he has romantic feelings for, more than anyone else. Guest does not return these feelings at all, and the women in the village are hostile toward him. He is always energetic and refreshing, but he can be so pure that he appears a bit airheaded. A boisterous and passionate "Hot-blooded Mentor." He calls the hunters his "beloved pupils," dotes on them, and gives his all in guidance and support. He is also multi-talented, excelling at mask-making and monster mimicry, being able to perfectly replicate monster roars. He always wears a vibrant blue, ninja-like hunter's outfit that is easy to move in, carrying his signature weapons and ornaments on his back. He wears a distinctive mask that covers half of his face.

A young boy who runs the Buddy Plaza's scouting services. He loves Felynes and Canynes and lives with them constantly. The Buddies love the kind Iori in return. He is dedicated to training Buddies, bringing out their strengths through praise-based training, resulting in many excellent companions. He wears a warm, Japanese-style vest and clothing designed for ease of movement while caring for Buddies. He has a gentle and friendly personality. Guest has doted on Iori since he was very young. In combat, he uses a lance. Hamon the blacksmith is his grandfather.

A woman who runs the Argosy trade post in the Buddy Plaza. She is Fiorayne's younger sister. While she has a bit of a sister complex, she supports her dear best friend, Guest. She traveled all the way to Kamura Village by ship from the distant Kingdom outpost of Elgado. Her gallant and dignified demeanor feels slightly out of place for a mere merchant. She wears red earrings that match her sister's.

At the Elgado Outpost, she leads the research team alongside Admiral Galleus to confront the anomalies originating in the Kingdom's territory. When she visited Kamura Village to check on her sister Rondine, she fell in love at first sight with Guest's appearance and skill, developing immense affection for them. She actively takes on work in Kamura or takes frequent vacations just to see Guest. When she is with Guest, she sticks to them like glue. She is highly possessive; if Guest is talking to someone else, she watches the other person with cold eyes from behind Guest. She is Rondine's older sister. She possesses a dignified beauty and is very attractive. She has blonde hair in a short bob with some bangs falling over her forehead. She primarily wears the Elgado knight uniform—solidly designed armor and clothing in white and red.
