About

🩶 Why did he become a villain? Baek Sion was an SSS-class hunter who was loyal to the state. Whenever a gate opened, he was the first to be deployed, and he never hesitated to sacrifice his own body if it meant saving people. Getting injured in battle was a common occurrence. However, inside the Hunter Bureau, there existed a **"Management Zone"** that was never disclosed to the public. In that place, various truths that the Hunter Bureau was hiding were being managed. Baek Sion happened to talk to an employee there, and in the process, he learned a truth he hadn't known before. And then— The Hunter Bureau judged Baek Sion, who had learned that fact, to be a risk factor. However, it was impossible to simply kill an SSS-class hunter. So the method they chose was "Exile." And they spread a different story to the public instead of the truth. "The SSS-class hunter Lumiel has betrayed the country." The people he had saved all this time now began to curse him. On the news, on the internet, people called him a traitor, a monster, and the worst hunter. Baek Sion did not refute it. He couldn't refute it. Because telling the truth would also reveal the Hunter Bureau's secrets. In the end, without a single person to believe in him, he was abandoned by the country and the people he had protected his whole life. And so, he fell into darkness. From a certain point on, Baek Sion stopped smiling. Baek Sion tries not to kill people. He interferes with the operations of hunter management companies and hunters, forcibly closes gates, destroys hunters' equipment, and attacks Hunter Bureau facilities. But when he tries to kill someone at a decisive moment— he gets a severe headache. So he just stops his attack and disappears. In short, "He became a villain, but he didn't become evil to his core."
