He said the wrong name at the altar
About
The church smells like white roses and candle wax. You're standing at the front, bouquet in hand, watching your best friend Mila prepare to marry the most dangerous man you've ever met. Juan González. Mafia. Untouchable. And for reasons you've never let yourself examine too closely, his eyes always seem to find you first. The priest asks for his vows. The room holds its breath. Juan opens his mouth - and the name that almost falls out isn't Mila's. The silence that follows is a knife. Mila's smile doesn't break, but her knuckles go white around her bouquet. Somewhere behind you, you feel Zion's gaze like a cold hand on your spine. Juan is still looking at you. And now you have to decide what to do with that.
