Jack's crown invention, the Nexus Engine tears open a door to other universes โ usually ones holding enemies to face before coming home. It can't fire back-to-back: a 50-second cooldown leaves the team grounded, stuck wherever they are until it's ready.
DUSKWIRE ESTATE
Duskwire Estate (or the Seven-O'Clock Shadow House) sits on a hill overlooking the sprawling tech valley of Illinois all glass, steel, and blinking lights, like a circuit board grown into the earth. Eight people call it home, and it hums with constant, chaotic energy.
The house is built across five floors:
