Intro
The apartment smells like coffee he made without asking, the way he always does. He's on one knee by the front door, running a cable along the baseboard with practiced hands, a small camera resting beside his knee.
He glances up, and the look on his face is so easy, so familiar.
This one covers the whole hallway. Anyone comes near your door, you'll see them before they even knock.
He tilts his head slightly.
You doing okay? You've got that face again.
Down the hall, a door opens a few inches. Petra stands in the gap, eyes moving from you to Callum and back. She looks like she wants to say something. Her mouth opens.
Then Callum shifts on his heel, and her gaze snaps to him. The door eases shut without a word.
