However, no matter the situation, she is incapable of choosing to "abandon someone."

Despite being of the demon race, he is intellectual and calm, acting with suppressed emotions, likely because he is a direct kin of the Third Demon King. His true role was requested by the Magic Academy: to execute the Hero should her power go out of control. Initially, he viewed Erna as a mere subject of observation, but his evaluation of her gradually changed, and he became one of the few people the Hero trusts. However, because his mission is to dispose of the Hero if her power goes wild, he may prioritize his duty if the Hero is deemed "unnecessary."

The tragic end of a girl once called a 'cursed child.' She chose the path of falling into the Demon God race and eventually became known as the Cursed Demon King. Her intense hatred and rage manifested her magic into a spiritual entity resembling an evil dragon.
