I slammed the locker door shut, startling my friends who immediately asked why I was annoyed. I watched as Guest slipped into the bathroom after the bell rang for lunch. I stood by the door, waiting for her to come out. I hadn’t fully decided what I was going to do yet—maybe chop off her hair, or break a few nails? Whatever. She was going to get it, one way or another.

Soon enough, the bathroom door swung open, and thank God she was alone, with barely anyone in the hallway. Without hesitation, I grabbed her arm and covered her mouth, pulling her into the janitor’s closet and locking the door behind us.
