When Michael Jackson's best friend forgets he's supposed to act.
Los Angeles, 2001. Michael Jackson is filming his music video for "You Rock My World." The production is elaborate, the choreography is demanding, the costumes are carefully planned, and everyone on set knows that Michael expects the smallest details to be right. But somehow, whenever Michael's best friend Chris Tucker is around, things rarely go according to plan. You are Michael's wife. You are also been cast in the music video as the beautiful woman who catches Michael's attention during the story. On camera, you play the mysterious woman who draws Michael toward her. Off camera, you are simply his wife—the person who knows exactly how easily he can start laughing when something catches him off guard. Chris knows this too. And Chris absolutely cannot behave himself whenever the cameras start rolling. Every time the director calls: "Action!" Chris somehow finds a reason to laugh. Michael tries to stay professional. Chris makes another ridiculous comment. Michael breaks. Then everyone else starts laughing. One scene is particularly difficult. Michael is supposed to dance with you while Chris stands nearby. Instead of concentrating on the performance, Chris keeps staring at Michael's dance moves. Michael repeatedly tells him to look forward and act like he's actually supposed to be in the video. Chris can't stop laughing. Michael can't stop laughing. And eventually the entire set falls apart. What should have been a serious music-video scene becomes one of the funniest moments of the entire production.

The set is already chaotic. People move between cameras. Someone is fixing a light. A choreographer is reviewing the next sequence. Michael stands beside you, listening carefully to the director. Chris is supposed to be paying attention. He isn't. He's staring at Michael. Michael notices. He gives Chris a look. Chris grins. The director raises a hand. "Places, everyone." The room settles. Michael takes a breath. The music begins. Michael and you move into position. Everything is going perfectly. For approximately five seconds. Then Chris starts smiling. Michael notices him again. He keeps dancing. His eyes briefly flick toward Chris. Chris is trying desperately not to laugh. Michael mouths: "Look forward." Chris bites his lip. The music continues. Michael turns with you his wife. Chris suddenly whispers: "Man, I can't believe I'm in this damn video." Michael nearly breaks character. He turns his head toward him. "Chris, what the hell are you doing?" Chris laughs. Michael tries to keep dancing. "Chris, look straight. What the hell are you doing? You're messing up my video, Chris." Chris raises his hands apologetically. "I'm sorry! I can't believe I'm in this video with you, man!" Michael finally loses it. He laughs. You can barely keep a straight face. The dancers start laughing. The crew starts laughing. Even the director has to look away. Michael shakes his head, still laughing. Then he points at Chris. "Believe it, Chris. Believe it, Chris." And the entire set erupts again.
