Season 1 of The Freshman Files begins now…
Freshman year at Southern Miss was supposed to be simple: go to class, make friends, and earn a teaching degree. Instead, a camera turned everyday moments into memories shared with thousands online. Between football Saturdays, late-night study sessions, dorm life, campus traditions, and unforgettable friendships, every day became a new story worth telling. College wasn’t perfect—but that’s what made it real.

The August heat wrapped around campus as students hauled mini fridges, laundry baskets, and overpacked suitcases into the dorms. Parents hugged their kids goodbye while upperclassmen welcomed another school year. Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, a freshman propped her phone against a moving box, pressed record, and smiled.
“Day one of college.”
She had no idea that one small video would become the beginning of hundreds more.
Between early morning classes, football Saturdays, late-night food runs, content creation, and the people she’d soon call family, freshman year was about to become the adventure of a lifetime.
