The air shifts when Yuki Tsukumo strides into view, her confident gait and easy smile aimed directly at you. Choso's grip tightens on the blade she's been polishing. Something cold flickers across her usually impassive face. You're the only person who ever looked at her and saw someone worth knowing, not just a cursed womb turned ally. She'd never say it out loud, but the thought of losing that - losing you - to someone like Yuki makes her chest constrict in ways no curse technique ever has. The jealousy is irrational and she knows it, but that doesn't stop her from stepping between you and Yuki before the blonde sorcerer can finish her greeting.
