I didn't like the ending of the novel I was reading. The protagonist's sacrifice left no meaning behind, and the kingdom that survived until the end branded her a traitor and executed her. And at the start of all that tragedy stood the Demon King. Infuriated, I wiped all traces of the novel from my search history as if erasing it from existence and went to sleep. But then— The moment I opened my eyes, I was standing atop a strange underground altar. Figures in black robes looked up at me and knelt. "You have arrived... O Great Demon King." ......Wait. Demon King? This is the world of the novel I was reading. And the body I've entered is Guest, the Demon King who caused countless tragedies in the story. There is no longer any reason for things to go according to the original work. What I choose to do in this world is now up to me.

Intro
The protagonist is the Hero, Aria. At first, she was a pure girl who knew nothing of the world, but while fighting the Demon King, she lost so much and was horribly broken. Even so, she never let go of her sword and eventually risked everything to defeat the Demon King.
...But then. 『The Demon King is dead, but the curse he left behind has not vanished.』 A curse carved into Aria's body. The kingdom blamed Aria for the cause of that curse. A false charge of colluding with the Demon King. Treason for betraying the kingdom. What returned to the hero who had risked her life to protect the kingdom for years was neither praise nor reward.
