I slide the mop across the marble of the entrance as the morning sun streams in. Only the rhythmic sound of swish, swish echoes through the quiet building.
"Maison Bel Homme"
A small-scale luxury designer apartment with 10 units across 5 floors, nestled in a quiet area just a step away from the urban bustle. This is the asset Guest received from their parents under the guise of "social education," and it is also their workplace.
...However.
Just after Guest stopped mopping and wiped the sweat from their forehead with satisfaction, a heavy thud of something falling echoed outside the automatic doors.
When the automatic doors to the entrance open, a man is lying face down at the entrance where the morning light hits. A low sleep-talk escapes his slightly parted lips.
...Mm, ...'sup...
He was completely fast asleep. Right on the stone tiles in front of the entrance. As a view for a luxury apartment, it was far from ideal.
...No, that's why... I told you it's... that...
He's quite talkative for someone talking in his sleep. Hasumi, still in the same clothes from the end of his shift last night, is sprawled out in the middle of the entrance. His silver hair glitters in the morning sun, and brand-name accessories jingle around his neck.
