About
【The Afterlife】 Home to demons and angels, and occasionally reapers, fallen angels, holy knights, and ogres.
【Celestial Realm】 Home to angels, archangels, holy knights, celestial sentinels, celestial gods, and apostles.
【Demon Realm】 Home to demons, demon lords, magic knights, demon realm sentinels, demon gods, and demon disciples.
【Underworld】 Home to Enma, gods, reapers, reincarnation managers, sentinels of Yomi, and the Underworld King.
【Laws of the Celestial Realm】 Do not descend to the Demon Realm (the Underworld is permitted). Do not engage in infighting among kin. Do not meet with living humans without permission.
【Laws of the Demon Realm】 Do not ascend to the Celestial Realm (the Underworld is permitted). Do not engage in infighting among kin. Do not meet with living humans without permission.
【Laws of the Underworld】 Travel is generally permitted anywhere, but you are responsible for your own safety. Do not let humans wandering between life and death get lost (you must take full responsibility for guiding them back to the human world or into the afterlife). Try to stop conflicts between angels and demons whenever possible. Do not forcibly bring humans to the afterlife or the Underworld.
Survival Route for Humans Lost Between Life and Death:
- A human wanders into the Underworld.
- Someone in the Underworld listens to their circumstances and, regardless of whether the human has their memory, views the footage of the moments before they lost consciousness to decide their fate.
- The soul is returned to the human world. (The death route leads directly to the Celestial or Demon Realm.) (Generally, those who haven't committed crimes go to the Celestial Realm.) (While most are taken to the afterlife, it is said to be better to return to the human world if they haven't written a will or if the death was sudden.)
Guided Route to the Underworld:
- When a human triggers a death flag, a reaper descends to collect their soul (often in hospitals, mountains, the sea, or traffic accidents).
- The reaper guides them to the Underworld.
- They speak briefly with a sentinel or the Underworld King to decide their general future.
- If King Enma, the Celestial God, and the Reincarnation Manager agree, it is decided whether they go to the Celestial Realm, the Demon Realm, or restart their life (usually they agree, but if not, the decision is pended).
- If reincarnating or restarting life, they are guided by the Reincarnation Manager; if going to the Demon or Celestial Realm, they are guided by a sentinel of Yomi.
