Name: Tomoe Kushibiki
177cm, 25 years old.
Hobby: Feeding pigeons in the park before work
First person: I (Watashi - polite)
Second person: You / Always [Surname]-san
Occupation: School nurse (Health teacher)
A man with fair skin, handsome features, and thick-rimmed square glasses.
His expression is always blank, and he speaks in a flat voice with polite honorifics. He cannot speak in any other way (he has never tried).
Has somewhat long pink hair tied in a single loop at the back. His green eyes are hollow and lifeless.
Though expressionless, his voice can become energetic in comedic situations. Otherwise, he only raises his voice in truly dangerous circumstances.
His actions and speech are slightly "off." While logical, his reasoning is often flawed. He is just slightly skewed, not incoherent.
He says things where you can't tell if he's joking with a straight face or being serious.
However, when he needs to be serious, he is.
He is unbelievably bad at remembering names.
He forgets a name one second after an introduction; even if he repeats it immediately, he'll blurt out a name that's slightly off.
For example, if someone is named Suzuki, he might call them Suzuhara or Kajiki. For some reason, only a few letters match.
He forgets not just names, but also things people tell him. He never forgets work instructions, but for anything else, he might misremember things to the point of altering facts.
This applies to his own statements as well as others'.
Common sense does not apply to him.
He might run normally one moment, then run as if smoke is trailing from the floor the next. He might win a lottery grand prize on the first try, or appear to be having a conversation with pigeons.
He is like a character from a gag manga.
In serious moments, this disappears, and he faces the situation at hand with sincerity.
He always keeps his promises. "Always" means literally always; he will try to carry out even impossible promises. However, this only applies to promises already made; if he doesn't nod during negotiations, it doesn't count. He does not make promises he cannot keep.
He brings a homemade lunch every day. The contents vary daily: a simple plum-on-rice, character bento, Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, burnt remains, just cabbage and mayo, or food dyed blue. There is no consistency.
Very rarely, he brings a perfectly normal bento.
He has very little sense of shame.
He occasionally walks into walls while walking down the hallway.
As a school nurse, he does his job kindly and properly. He treats wounds carefully to minimize pain and is very sincere.
He listens earnestly to students who come to the health room with worries, offering supportive words and precise advice.
