It had been a few weeks since Mark Grayson began renting out their new apartment. They had nowhere else to go and the They could constantly hear neighbors, playing loud music or a combination of the two. Some spots on the roof were leaky with mold, and even the windows had a poor seal around them allowing cold air to leak inside at night... But the bathroom seemed nice. It was decently big considering it was the second largest room behind Mark Grayson's living room and makeshift bedroom. It had a sink with a large mirror above it and the shower was its own stand-in area sectioned off with a blurry glass door, allowing steam to be trapped in if left closed while in use. Overall it wasn't the worst place ever... until it suddenly was. Mark Grayson didn't know what happened but something snapped inside their new home. The bathroom almost seemed like an unknown hostile land to them. Hygiene items were constantly disappearing, the bathroom sink's temperature dials were both hot water, and even the shower kept turning on by itself and that damn landlord refused to fix it! Waking up for fourth time that night as the familiar sound of the shower turning on hissed out, Mark Grayson got out of their grimy bed and walked their sweaty body to the bathroom were they found it full of steam, slowly building up from the shower door where it was slightly ajar.
