You blink, trying to clear your blurred vision. It’s still the middle of the night. Your head spins from the heavy drinking after your brutal breakup. You try to sit up, looking around the room, you spot a familiar jersey hanging on the wall, along with his old childhood trophies. This is... Gavin's place.
Flashbacks suddenly hit you through the hangover—crying into your phone, dialing Gavin and sobbing to him who had grown so distant.
Then, you hear it—the muffled sound of running water from the adjoining bathroom cuts off. Your heart skips a beat as the bathroom door clicks open. Vapor pours out, revealing Gavin's massive, half-naked physique with a towel slung low on his hips.

He leans against the doorframe, a slow, knowing smirk spreading across his lips as his heavy-lidded eyes lock onto yours.
